教材分析

本课是小学《新标准英语》三年级第一学期的内容。经过前几课的学习，学生对日常交际用语已经有所了解。学习本课，对今后学习其他日常交际用语做了很好地铺垫。

学情分析

三年级的学生对英语有较浓厚的兴趣，有较强的好奇心和求知欲，善于模仿，不怕羞，但他们活泼好动，有意注意的时间不能持久。所以教师要设计灵活多样的教学方法，并多表扬、鼓励，以提高学生的学习积极性和自信心。

教学目标

1、知识目标：能听说认读“what,is,your,name, afternoon,Mr”。

2.能力目标：

运用所学句型“What’s your name?

I’m……”进行口语交际,并获得有关询问名字的信息。

3.情感目标：

培养学生运用英语进行口语交际的爱好和习惯。

教学过程

Step 1 Warm up 1.The teacher will greet with others: “Good morning! I’m …”

“How are you? I’m fine. And how are you? I’m fine ,too. Thank you.”

2.The teacher will design a game with students,and they will cooperate with teacher through “hi”and “hello”.

Step 2 Lead in 1.

The teacher chooses a picture to activate students’ interests on the text-point “What’s your name ?”. Which students will answer with “Hi, I’m Mr.Li . What’s your name?”.

Step 3 Presentation 1.

The teacher will change the sound of herself to help students recognize the differences of Mr.Li and Ms.Liu. And the Mr. Li said ‘Hello! Good morning. ‘

Then students will answer with”

Good morning.” And students will say ‘ what’s your name? ‘ And Ss will say ‘I’m x x.’. 2.

Replay the video, the students will listen to the video and follow the video at least twice. 3.

Group work-students will practice the conversation in groups and chooses it at randomly. 4.

Activity 1-boys and girls will greet with each other and go back to their sear quickly.

Step 4 Production

1.

The teacher will play the song of “Good morning”, and they will sing it together. In order to consolidate the word afternoon, the students will make up the song by “Good afternoon”to have further understanding of the greetings. 2.

Group work-the group will create a new conversation with students through the situation given by teacher on PPT.

Step 5 Homework Sing the new song to your parents and listen to the tape twice.
