I. Warm-up:

II. Useful expressions in your answers. 1. As far as I am concerned, I am confident in my life, because I am always convinced that confidence is the key factor of success. If he hasn’t any confidence in himself, he will achieve nothing. In my opinion, one should build up faith in oneself as long as he has a right attitude towards his own life and abilities. We should neither underestimate nor overestimate our abilities.

2. There are various obstacles facing us in our life. However, the big obstacle to me is my attitude, I always tend to lose confidence easily and find it hard to form the correct attitude, which has a big effect on my life.

3. As an old saying goes,” Where there is a will, there is a way”. I always bear it in mind when I meet difficulty or obstacle in my study. It’s known to all that the secret of success (The key to success) is not so much money as a strong will. A great man is one who has a strong will and an indomitable spirit. In other words, if a man does not have a strong will to win (get) the final victory, he will never succeed in his life. He is no more than a failure. In a word, I will never give up no matter what happens.

4. Many people fail for lacking of confidence and strong will, which makes it impossible to achieve their goals. We do see a lot of people who always complain that they lack the ability to do something or that their difficulties are too great to overcome. For some, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart. Why do some people often feel frustrated even though they are able to do something? Different people have different opinions about it. Needless to say, nothing but perseverance can lead a man to the way of success. In other words, a persevering man never does his work without succeeding in it. This is indeed unchangeable truth.

5. Proverbs play a very important role in our life, it’s just some inspiring proverbs that lead us to success. On of my favorite proverbs is “ No pains, no gains”. In addition to your confidence and will, you still have to work hard and have a positive attitude towards your life, only in this way can you succeed.
