Summer holiday plans Teaching procedures

Step 1 Warm-up (Before

class) 1.T: Who can read these new words? How do you know about them? S:Listen to the tape ./Listen to Nano Box(纳米盒) ./look them up in the dictionary/ 2.T: Look at these key words .In your group ,you can try your best to say more words in 30 seconds. Last summer holiday/This May Day holiday,Where did you go ?请同学带照片到前面汇报。

【设计意图：引导学生对假期，地点，交通，假期感觉进行头脑风暴，让学生回忆学过的单词，为接下来的教学做好语言储备。】

Step 2 Pre-reading tasks 1.T:Last summer holiday ,My friends and I wen to some interesting places.Let’s enjoy

and guess Which cities they are.(出示一些景点图片)

S: London .Sydney ,Beijing ,Taipei(请学生读101大厦) 2.T: Now it is in May. This summer holiday is coming, I will do a lot of things for the it.. Do you want to know about my summer holiday?

S: Yes.

T: I will show you some pictures about my summer holiday. Look and guess

(呈现图片，让学生讨论) S；You will ... 3.T: Great! You said a lot about my holiday. This is my summer holiday plan. T: What plans in our class?What will we do? How will we learn ?（揭示课题，贴板子) S: We will listen carefully/Say actively/read lodly/write quietly/think hard(听说读写方面思考) 【设计意图：利用学生对教师生活的好奇心，引导他们用将来时态谈论老师将在假期做什么，然后引出plan，让他们感知plan的意义，同时明白谈论计划时要用一般将来时态。】

Step 3 While-reading tasks

1.T: (教师展示四幅图片) Look! Our friends are talking about their summer holiday plans too.

Look and say :Who are they？

T: What do you want to know about their holidays? S: Where ?How? Who? What?…(板书) T: Look carefully .From these pictures , What information can you get ? 【设计意图：让学生就他们想要了解的问题进行提问，锻炼他们的提问能力，同时让他们通过提问感知一份计划需要写出哪些内容。着重培养学生看图获取信息的能力】

3.T: I’m glad you can ask good questions. First, Listen and match, where will they go for the holiday?

【设计意图：听录音，让学生整体感知故事，同时也锻炼听力。】

T: Now we know where they will go. Now I have some some questions for you.

Read Part 1 and choose the right answers to the questions.

How long will Mike stay there?

Will Yang Ling go to Beijing by plane?

（小组连锁操练Will you go to ...Yes,I

If you go to Beijing, What else will you do?（吃好吃的食物：糖葫芦，茯苓饼，麻花，驴打滚，北京烤鸭等Tanghulu, Rolling donkey, Roast duck, Fuling cake/看京剧，请某人唱两句/参观各种景点：鸟巢，天坛

回答问题表现好的奖励北京零食）

【设计意图：学生仔细阅读故事的第一部分，找出关键性信息，培养他们阅读能力的同时，也使他们了解Yang Ling和Mike的细节信息。】

T: We knew Yang Ling and Mike’s summer holiday plans What about Su Hai and Liu Tao. Look at Part 2 and read loudly in groups(学法的指导，为下一步小组合作学习做准备。) (每组准备四个问题，可以提问任何小组，也可以其他小组抢答，表现好的小组奖励北京零食）

S: Disneyland and Ocean Park

Step 4 Post-reading tasks

1.T: Now let’s play a game “Brain storm” Expand the sentence(复述课文，每组选择一个人物) 2. Happy reading T: Four in groups .Choose one way to talk. 3.T: You know about my holiday plan. You also know about my friends’ plans. How about yours,How about your friends’

or teaches’? Let’s talk about your holiday plans and write down.（转盘转到谁就谁说）

4. T; Let’s enjoy a view.总结“请带上文明旅游”，Enjoy your travelling.

A holiday plans can make a lot of fun 【设计意图：让学生把已学的知识运用到实际中来，谈论自己的假期计划。】
