教学目的：to learn how to write a presentation on the pets 教课类型：New Teaching Lesson 教学方法：discussion teaching, interactive teachiong, exploring teaching 教具准备：a multi-media computer 教学重点：how to write a presentation on the pets 教学过程：Step 1: Revision (5 mins)

Revise the different parts of the animals.

Step 2: Discussion (10 mins)

Divide the students into groups and discuss how to describe the pets’ appearance, personality and lifestyle.

Step 3: Listening (5 mins)

Listen to the tape and answer some questions.

Step 4: Reading (5 mins)

Read the passage from para.1-3.

Step 5: Listening (5 mins)

Listen to the tape and answer more questions.

Step 6: Reading (5 mins)

Read the passage from para.4-6. Step 7: Presentation (5 mins)

Tell the students how to write the presentation. Step 8: Writing (5 mins)

Write the presentation on the pet. 板书设计：Introuction

Describe its appearance. Describe its personality. Write about its food, its home, its likes and dislikes. Write about how you look after it. Conclusion

Say why your favourite animal is special 教学后记：本课以素质教育为目的，结合教材重点、难点及英语学科特点，利用多媒体辅助教学，从视、听、说等方面使学生得到锻炼，在愉快、轻松的氛围中温知新，达到初步运用英语交际的能力。

本课件所用教材为牛津初中英语七年级下

Unit6 Pets 第9课时Main task。本堂课先从复习动物不同身体

教案

部分的单词入手，进而过渡到新授课的内容写一篇动物的文章。在写作前先让学生自由讨论，归纳写作所需要的相关词汇与短语，并结合一篇有关猫的范文，学习写作的技巧。

本课件用powerpoint格式编辑，操作简易，按鼠标即可。
