③Do you want to know more about his home? to lead in thStep Step2 Presentation 1. Ask the ss to look at the pictures of Neil’s home in Part A1 carefully and answer How many rooms does it have? What are they? What else does it have? Step 3 Listening Explain to the students and play the tape twice. Then play again to check the answers. 1) Neil and his family don’t sit in the kitchen.

Step 4 Integrated skills A3 1. Explain to the students and ask them to do Part A3 on their own. Give them help where needed. Step 5 Talking 1.

Ask the following questions ①

Step 6 Language points and exercises 1. Answer the questions: Do you remember Neil? Where is he from? Where does he live? Can you say something about his home? 2. Have a talk with the teacher or their partner to revise the usage of prepositions of place and present the new language points. e.g. What’s in the dining room? What’s near the dinner table?
