一、教学目标

1)在初步感知北极的基础上，通过看视频，听录音，学习北极熊捕食的过程，熟读chant。

2)巩固已学过的第三人称单数的用法，并能灵活运用动词短语来描述其他动物的特征及生活习性。

3)培养学生热爱生命，保护动物的意识。

四、教学步骤

Step 1.Warming up Greetings Step 2.Presentation 1.Pre-reading Show Nicola’s photo.and ask:Look ,who is she? Her grandparents live in the Arctic. What do you kown about the Arctic.(学生自由谈论上节课中学生了解到的北极知识。) Ok Last class I send a vidio about the Arctic on my QQ.And she wants to know more about the Arctic animals.Let’s send her.Who can tell her the animals?学生认识北极熊

以及北极兔,同时认读本课新词The polar bear

和The Arctic hare The Arctic is very very cold，The animals can live there.let’ know them.认识其他一些北极动物。The polar bear is the star of the animals.导入今天的新课。
