【教学目标】

1. 知识目标:

(1)学习并掌握句型:

---Do you want to visit the UN building ? --- Yes,I want to… .

(2)能正确、流利地朗读对话。

(3)通过学习能够对联合国有一定的了解和认识。

2. 技能目标:

(1)学习并掌握“Do y ou wan t to …(visit the UN building)? ” 和“ I want to… ”的表达方法。(2)能学会运用所学的句子说明可能要做的事情并对计划进行调查。

3. 情感目标:

(1)通过学习,增强学生的对世界联合国的认识。

(2)渗透爱国、爱世界,做一个对祖国,对世界都有用的人。

1. 学生能理解并正确朗读对话。

2. 学习并掌握“ Do yo u want to …(visit the UN building)? ”和“ I want to… ”的表达方法。

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings. (师生间进行愉快的问候。)

2. Free talk:Let’s travel .

老师热情地问候学生们后,可以询问暑期干什么?想去旅游吗?

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Do you like traveling?

There are many beautiful places in the world . Now I am your guide, let’s go traveling with our eyes, OK ?

教师用PPT 出示世界各地著名景点的图片,然后做简介: The Great Wall 、The Summer Place;、The White House 、the UN building ….

Step 2 Presentation and Practice

Activity 2 Listen,read and act out

1.谈话导入.

教师呈现the UN building 图片,导入课题。

T:This is a picture of the UN building , Do you want to visit the UN building ? Today Simon’s dad, Simon and Daming are visiting the UN. Let’s Listen to the tape and then answer some question”

教师播放对话录音或动画,呈现对话情景,目的让学生了解对话的大概内容。教师提问,学生看完光盘回答问题。

T :What is the UN building like? --- It’s beautiful. it’s very big and very tall.

2.教师呈现对话第一幅图,列出问题,学生翻开书自主朗读对话第一部分,然后回答问题。T : Where is the UN building? --- It is in New York.

3. 教师呈现对话第二幅图,列出问题,学生翻开书自主朗读对话第二部分,然后回答问题。

T:Is China in the UN ?

--- Yes.It is.

T:How many member states are there in the UN ? --- There are 193.

4.教师呈现对话第三幅图,列出问题,学生翻开书自主朗读对话第三部分,然后回答问题。

T:Does Daming want to go inside the UN building ?

--- Yes,he does.

What ’s the present from China ?

----It’s a train .

教师简单介绍成昆铁路象牙雕刻艺术品,培养学生的爱国情感。

6. Key phrases

go inside 进到里面去

want to do sth 想要做某事

one of +名词复数,表示……其中之一。

7. Key sentences

询问对方想不想(去/参观)……?

---- Yes,(I do).I want to … .表示肯定,我想做…(某事)

—No .I don’t . 表示否定,我不想… (某事) 8. Follow the tape

回顾对话内容,再次完整播放录音动画,学生集体跟读录音。老师可以在每句话后停顿,请学生模仿跟读,并注意人物所使用的语言。

8.Situaitional dialogue.学生在小组中分角色朗读故事。

Activity 3 Listen and say

(1).播放句子对话录音,学生跟读,然后教师领读。

(2) 操练:抢答。将句子挖空几个关键单词和词组,看学生谁记得好,说得快。

a)A: Do you______ to visit the UN building in_______? B and C::Yes, ___ do!

A::I _____ show Daming _______the presents from China.

B::OK!

Step 3 Consolidation

1. 游戏,火眼金睛。

全班抢答竞赛,单词和词组知识一闪而过,看谁记得快记得牢。

2. 句型操练。

Activity 4 Practise(Follow and say)

1.根据课文对话内容,指出人物头像(三人)他们想做什么。

2. 小组合作,利用新学句型Sb want to…?尝试用英语来描述他们想做的事。

3. Let’s check .开火车了

Make sentences with “want” 。用I want to…说说自己想做的事。(学生依次轮流造句。)

Step 4 Summary

总结今天所学的内容。

a) 单词:the UN building 联合国大楼。

b) 短语:want to do sth 想要做某事

show sb sth 给某人看某物

one of +名词复数,表示……其中之一。

c)句型:询问对方想不想做……(某事)?

Step 5 Homework

1.能独立完整地朗读故事对话。
