重点：1、全体学生能听懂并且说Was it a big city then? Yes, it was. /No, it wasn’t.

2、掌握单词city 、village，达到“读

认”能力目标。

难点：能够运用由Was 引导的一般疑问句及其回答。

三、教学过程

：

Step1.warm-up：

（1）Greetings

（2）Say the chant；

Fat, fat, fat. I was fat. Thin, thin, thin. Now I’m thin. Short, short, short. I was short. Tall, tall, tall. Now I’m tall. （3）

Step 2 Presentation

1、show a picture of me and review the unit 1.and let students to read;fat thin cute naughty tall short.

2、Show the picture of the activity 1.and then Play the radio at SB book Unit 2 activity 1, and ask the Ss to read after it.at last,read your book by yourself. 学习句子：--Was he strong then? --Yes, he was. Step3: New lesson

(1) Lead in and new words

1、Show a picture of Amy`s grandpa.and the question:where is he? Then let students find the answer by reading their book. 2、Look at this picture about Shenzhen.

--Is it a big city? --Yes, it is. Now Look at another picture about Shenzhen. (展示出一张过去深圳的照片）

Let me guess, Was it a big city then? 3、play the radio of activity 2,let students read after it. Step4: Practice 在练习部分设计一个游戏环节. Let me guess.可以让学生在小组中介绍一个同学，让其他组学生猜。

小组讨论并描述学校的变化，并请一些同学上台给大家描述。

Step5：Summary 1、What have you learn？让学生自己总结本课时所学到的内容。

2、询问第三人称单数过去怎么样句型：

Was +第三人称单数(it/he/she...)+形容词？

回答：Yes, it/he/she... was. No, it/he/she...

wasn't. Step6: Homework （1）read the text three times。
