知识目标:
1、能用句型“What’s your favourite festival? My favourite festival is ...”来谈论和介绍中国和外国的主要节日,比较中西方节日的差异,交流自己对节日的喜好。
2、在朗读句子时能把握句子的节奏和重读。
情感、策略和文化目标
1、培养学生热爱祖国,热爱生活,关心他人的能力。
2、积极运用所学的语言知识进行交流,找出最有效的记忆单词的方法。
3、了解中西方文化差异,培养跨文化意识。
教学重点:
1、听说读写四会“thanksgiving,flag,fly,special,meal,meal.”等词汇。
2、掌握重点句型:
What’s your favourite festival?
My favourite festival is ...?
教学难点:
结合实际自由交谈感恩节、国旗日及其它中西方节日。

warm-up Greetings Have a dictation of the new words and new sentences of Module 3. Step2
lead-in T:Listen to the song of “Thanksgiving Heart”.
All of us should have a thanksgiving heart and we should say thank you to all that we have. We are going to learn more about Thanksgiving. Step3
Presentation and Practise T:Well,Do you know thanksgiving?(展示幻灯片) Please look, T:Thanksgiving is an American Festival.(Fllow me!) S: Thanksgiving is an American Festival. T:Can you tell me more about Thanksgiving?(展示幻灯片) Ss:Look,listen and say.(观看课文视频,听说跟读)
Together read: On Thanksgiving Day, we say thank you on thanksgiving day. Free talk: Who do you want to say “thank you”to on “Thanksgiving Day”?
S1 I want to say “thank you” to my father.
S2 I want to say “thank you” to my mother.
S3 I want to say “thank you” to my friend.
S4 I want to say “thank you” to my pet dog.
T:What do you do on “Thanksgiving Day”?
(孩子们看动画,回答问题,并读重点句子) Boys:We always have a special meal. Girls:And after Thanksgiving dinner,we watch a big football game on TV.(这些句子中间加入句子接龙游戏和联系环节)
