教学内容：

本课时是外研社Join in剑桥英语六年级下册Unit 6 The world of my dreams第二课时Part4 : A story -The rabbit’s dream的学习。

学情分析：

学生已在第一课时学习并能运用所学知识描述自己梦里的世界。

Step 1: Warm up 1.

Greetings 2.

Free talk: Do you have a dream?

What do you often dream?

What is in the world of your dream？

Step2: Before- reading 1.

Let’s watch a video(教师出示疯狂动物城的影片片段，引出本课主题The rabbit’s dream）

Step 3: While-reading 1. Listen to the whole story and try to answer the question:-What’s the rabbit’s dream? 2. Listen again and try to answer:- How many animals does the rabbit meet?

Read the story of the Pic (1-4), then ask:

-What does the rabbit ask? -How does the lion answer? -What does the lion want to do? -What does the rabbit do? (然后根据学生回答完成表格) 4.

Read the story of the Pic( 5-11), then finish the form by yourself. Then check the answer. 5.

Read the story of the Pic(12-13), and answer the question: -Does the rabbit find the ocean at last?(并适时情感渗透)

Step 4 : Post-reading

1. Listen and imitation

(学生逐句模仿录音中的语音语调，教师适时给予朗读技巧指导。) 2.

Teacher acts the story with Ss together.(教师与数名表现力强的学生共同示范故事。) 3.

Act the story in groups, then show it out. 4.

Try to retell the story. Step 5: Consolidation Watch a video about Nick Vujicic and introduce a book: Life Without Limits to the pupils. (适时教育学生如果有梦想，就要坚持，不轻言放弃。) Step 5: Homework
