Teaching Aims:

1、认识书本上出现的人物:Miss White, Mr Jones, John, Mike, Chen Jie, Wu Yifan

2、能用What’s your name?询问对方名字。

3、了解初次见面用Nice to meet you问候对方。

4、能用Goodbye跟他人道别。

Difficulties:

1、能熟练运用所学对话在日常生活中进行交际。

2、了解得体的社交礼仪。

Teaching Aids: flashcards, PPT

Procedures

Warm up:

1. The teacher shows a chant on PPT.

2. Daily talk:

What day is it today?

What’s the weather like?

How are you?

3.Students chant together and

answer the questions.

Lead in:

1.The teacher shows some charactors from the text book on PPT.

2. Have students work in pairs to practice “Hello/Hi. What’s your name? My name’s ….”

3. Have students sing a song.

Presentation:

Step1: The teachers plays a video about the dialogue.

Students watch the video and repeat the sentences.

Srep2: Show two pictures on the PPT.

Students role-play the dialogue.

Consolidation: Show a listening exercise on PPT. Students listen and number the pictures.

Homework:1.听录音,跟读课文P7三次。

2.用英语结交三位好朋友。

Self-assessment:Students will make new friends to check their understanding of the sentence structures.

Warm up&Review

1. Let’s sing

T: Let’s sing a song together. Students sing and do the actions together.

2.Game: Sharp eyes

T: Now, let’s play a game. What can you see? Students say the words as quickly as they can.

3. Let’s chant.

Presentation and practice:

Step1. Present ‘Carry the bag’

The teacher shows two pictures to present ‘bag’

Step2. Guess: What’s in the bag?

The teacher shows a bag and have students guess.

Step3. Play a game: Simon says

Have students listen and do the actions.

Open your pencil box.

Close your pencil box.

Step4. Let’s do

Play the flash and have students say together.

Consolidation:The teacher shows some words and pictures on PPT and have students match them.
