Step 1

Warming up and revision

1. Revision. Revise the new words in Section A. Subjects: P．E., music, math, Chinese, geography, history Days: Monday, Friday, Saturday Ss read the words above together. 2. Warming up: Let's chant. Step 2

Presentation

1. Present days in a week. Show the picture of calendar. Teach Ss from Sunday to Saturday. Ss read after the teacher and remember the days in a week. 2. Present the using of “on＋星期几”。 3. Present some new adjectives, such as free, relaxing, easy, fun, cool, etc. Read the words after the teacher and then Ss read them together. 4. Work on 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. Then check the answers. Ss read the words after the teacher, then try to remember them. Step 3

Listening

Work on 1b. 1．David is talking about his classes and schedule. Listen to the recording and check (√) the words you hear in 1a.

2. Check the answers with the class. Work on 1c. 1. Read through the schedule and find out what classes David have from Monday to Friday. 2. Now listen again and circle the classes David talks about on this schedule. Step 4

Pair work
