Teaching Steps

1. Warm-up and revision

（1）Greet the students. （2）Have a dictation. Have Ss write the letters that you read. Ask two Ss to write on the blackboard and check their handwriting.

（2）Review the letters and the words that the Ss have learned using the PPT.

（3）Fill in the blanks by using “a”and “an”

2. Presentation

Make the students try to practice these conversations by using the new words pen、key、cup、map、ruler、orange、jacket、quilt.The teacher help students to remember these new words,tell them the difference of the “that” and “this”.Then the students practice conversations with their partners. Invite 2 groups to show their performance.

全班练习和小组练习很容易把学生引入到词汇的记忆和运用中，从而使学生更快速的记忆单词和句型，掌握日常用语，充分体现了“学以致用”的原则。

3. Work on 3a （1）T: Please open your books and turn to page S7. Look at 3a. What can you see?

S: I can see a ruler, a map, …

（2）T: Please listen to the recording and number the pictures [1–8]. I’ll play the recording three times. The first time, just listen. The second time, number the pictures. The third time, check your answers.

让学生先认读图片，再听录音给图片编号，既可检查学生能否听懂正确的发音，也有助于纠正他们的发音。

4. Work on 3b

3a.

T: Now please look at the pictures in 3a again. There are some incomplete words under them. Listen to the recording and complete the words.

（2）Check the answers. （1）Play the recording for the students to listen and complete the words under the pictures in 【教学设计说明】

学生听录音后完成单词，可检查学生对字母的熟悉程度。

5. Work on 3c

（1）Listen and repeat. T: Close your books and listen to a conversation. Then repeat after the recording.

（2）T: Open your books and turn to page S7. Look at the conversation in 3c. Let’s listen and repeat.

（3）Ask Ss to practice the conversation in pairs.

（4）T: Now you can practice some more conversations with your partners using the pictures in 3a.

（5）Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class. 【教学设计说明】

让学生先听音再朗读并进行对话练习，一方面可以让学生模仿正确的语音语调，另一方面，可以让学生不断练习新的句型，并在运用中掌握。

6. Work on 3d

（1）T: Look at 3d. Let’s listen to some conversations and number the words you hear [1–4].

（2）Play the recording twice for the students to listen and number. （3）Check the answers.

此步骤可以帮助培养学生听懂对话并抓住其关键词。

7. Play a quick eyes game.

Show a picture of the out-of-order words. Ask the students spell quickly

the right words.And the students will be divided into two groups，making a comparison which group is the fastest. 【教学设计说明】

此设计既帮助学生再一次巩固所学的词汇，比赛的方式能够更好的刺激学生参与到课堂中来，达到教学目的。

8. Work on 3e

（1）Have Ss look at the picture in 3e and practice conversations in pairs. （2）Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class. （3）Have Ss to write down two conversations.

9. Homework （1）听读背诵八个事物的名称。

（2）爱好者选做。
