Step1. Warming up

T:Hello,boys and girls.

S:Hello,teacher.

T:Yes,let’s begin our class.please stand up,Let’s sing a song:who is singing.

Step2. Lead-in.

T:Great,Let’s learn lesson7 Arriving in Beijing.(read it),do you know something about Beijing?(大面积回答)

Step3. Presentation

活动1:ppt出示图片man/men, woman/women, child/children讨论图片。

1.出示boy and girl图

T: Who is this ?

S: This is a boy.

T:A boy is a child.What is the child doing?

S: The child is reading a book.

T: Who is this?

S: This is a girl.

T:A girl is a child ,too.板书child.

出示children图,

T: Now, What can you see in the picture?

S: boys and girls..

T: Boys and girls are children.(板书children)How many children? Let’s count .One,two,three,four...Many,many children.read after me.

T: What are the children doing?

S: The children are taking a picture..

出示woman图,

T:Who is this ?

S:This is my English teacher.

T:This is a woman.

出示women图,

T: What are these?

S:These are women.

T: How many women?

S: 4 women.通过手势让学生说出many women.

板书women, 在板书中从字形音形两方面区别woman和women.

出示man图,

T: What can you see in picture?

S:This is a\one man.板书man.

出示men图,

T:Is this a man?

S:No.

T: What are these?

S:These are men.

板书men,男女生轮读,分行读,在板书中从音形两方面区别man和men.

利用事先准备的尺子、橡皮等实物,引导学生说出many rulers\erasers\desks\chairs\books.

2.利用黑板上的单词,将其men,women和children归纳为people一大类。
