本课的教学对象是小学四年级的学生。这些学生从小学三年级开始学习英语，已经掌握了一些英语基础知识，并且具备了一定的语言组织能力。本课不存在难懂的句型，学生能够根据上下文及教师的解释理解教学分析

学习内容分析

个别生词的意思。所以在老师的引导下，学生完全有能力读懂整篇故事。

本节故事课是一篇同学之间互相帮助的故事。以Little Zeke和他的好朋友Emma为中心人物展开故事，语言文字材料较为简单，容量适中，插图及文字生动有趣，以故事的形式易于引发学生阅读兴趣，同时再现本单元所学知识，并对知识进行提炼、总结，能够很好地帮助学生复习、巩固及掌握所学知识。

Part C: 自读课文，回答问题。

T: Read the story by yourselves. And underline the answers. What does Little Zeke do? 学生两人一组朗读表演对话。

T: Look , what is it? S: It’s an apple. T: Yes, it’s very little for us. But it’s very big for Little Zeke. T: Ok, listen. I will read for you. T: What does Little Zeke do? S: Little Zeke puts an apple on the teacher’s desk. (板书puts并画出苹果和桌子) T: Can you dub? 学生看幻灯片为对话配音

T: Oh, no. The girl is not happy. Tess feels sad and afraid. Why? 学生自由表达意见。

T: Do you want to help Tess? Look what does Little Zeke do? S: He helps Tess.(板书helps) T: Let’s act this part. (四人一组表演对话) T: Show me your card. Let’s act this part together. (学生根据手中发到的奖励卡片的角色朗读课文) 3. Post-reading activities T: Let’ retell the story. 引导学生根据板书复述故事。
