本课是冀教版四年级下册第十三课，重点话题是关于年龄和生日的问答语，是三年级How old are you?的拓展延伸，是本册第二单元基数词，序数词、月份、日期及When is your birthday?的综合运用和提升，所以，对于四年级学生来说，本课既没有陌生单词，也没有不易理解的句型，学起来应该轻松容易。

学情分析：

四年级学生已经学了近两年的英语，已经有一定的英语基础，本课内容对他们来说相对简单。我班学生活泼好动，模仿能力强，学习本课应该轻松容易，但我班学生又胆怯、害羞，公开课或录像课往往放不开自己，影响课堂正常发挥。
