Lesson10 The Great Wall 一、教材分析

1、课文分析

本课在引导学生学习关于北京长城的词汇和短语，学生要掌握基本的有关词汇，本课“The Great Wall”讲述了Jenny, Li Ming, Danny参观长城发生的事情。学生在学习的过程中，运用英语语言读懂文本、提高了阅读技能，更重要的是学生在学习如何描述长城，尤其是描述它的历史和长度，体会到语言学习的乐趣，增强自信心和成就感。

2、教学重点

能够用所学知识简单地介绍长城历史和长度。

3、教学难点

能够简单地介绍其他的名胜古迹。



知识与技能目标：

（1）掌握词汇：stop, wait, feel, afraid （2）学生能用所学语言介绍长城长度和历史。



学习策略目标：

（1）通过评价反思，发展自我调控策略；

（2）养成听录音并从中提取信息的习惯。



情感态度目标：

（1）提高学习英语的兴趣，乐于阅读。

（2）增强孩子爱国意识，了解更多的中国名胜古迹。

三、教学步骤

Step I Class Opening

Greeting T:In lesson 9,we have learn a song,let’s sing a song, are you ready?

(设计思路：简单的问候，用学生们上节课在故宫学会的歌谣开启新课程的学习，承上启下，也在课程开始的时候调动孩子们的积极性和兴趣。) Step II New Concepts 1.Introduction （由照片导入新授）

T: In lesson 9

Danny，Jenny and go to the Palace Museum. Today they go to another place, it’s very famous in Beijing. Do you know what is it? Ss:the Great Wall. 2.New words 领读stop这个单词，先整体发音，之后分别重点讲解“s”和“t”字母的发音。尤其是“t”因为涉及到“s”后面“t”的变音。读音分解之后，进行点读，让学生读出重点单词。

stop(板书关键词) 根据“st”字母组合的发音，让学生们用自然拼读尝试读出“star”“story”“student”以及“station”

用同样的过程讲解“feel”（略讲解feel字母组合ee的发音）. 让学生们联系---How do you feel?

----I feel (happy, sad, cold hothe tired) 用同样的方式讲解“afraid”和“wait”这两个单词。

Text（1）（听录音，回答问题。) T: Turn to path26 look at the Part1, now you will listen to video and answer me three questions,

1)How do they go to the Great Wall? 2)How old is the Great Wall? 3)How long is the Great Wall? 通过动画的方式，让学生们听两遍录音，之后请同学们回答问题。

在讲解第三个问题时候，引出本课的重点句“How long is it？”

2.Key sentence 展示重点句，领读，之后讲解三个跟其有关的单词：

T: look at this ruler, do you know how long is it?(展示两组图片，领着学生练习重点句的表达)

小组活动：同桌之间根据图片所示内容进行一问一答练习。五分钟练习之后选择四组同学上台选择并且表演。

Text(2)（听录音，回答问题。) Turn to path26 look at the Part2, now you will listen to video and answer me three questions,

1)How does Danny feel on the way back? 2)Is Danny afraid of the cars and buses? 3)What should we do when we cross the street?

Step III Consolidation 1.Listen and tick. T:Listen and choose which is right. 2. Look and fill in the blank. T: Open your book and turn to page27,three minutes, finish the exercise ? Step Ⅳ

Class Closing
