Unit 2 Sports event（Reading）教学设计

一课堂设计指导思想：

阅读是英语学习中的重点内容，也是历年高考必考内容，也是写好书面表达必不可少的条件。本节课设计着眼高考阅读题解题技巧，以学生为出发点，创设各种情景，激发学生兴趣，引领学生主动参与语言实践活动，在不同情景中让学生通过交流合作达到对学生进行知识和能力的培养。

二教材分析

本次课时是M4U2Sports evens阅读课，话题是同学们熟悉的运动话题，尤其是2008年北京奥运会，通过熟悉的课内阅读教学引导学生对高考阅读题的解题技巧进行探究，让学生通过课内阅读解题技巧逐渐发现高考阅读题的解题技巧。

三学生分析

阅读是学生英语学习的过程中的重点也是难点。如何正确选出答案对于部分学生有一定的难度，我所教的C10和C18都是平行班，双基较弱，综合运用能力不强，部分同学做阅读时常常无从下手，瞎蒙，得分较低，本节课教学设计旨在激发学生的兴趣，变被动学习为主动学习的原则开展教学活动。

四教学目标与核心素养

知识和技能目标：让学生了解和掌握最基本的阅读解题方

法，让他们能通过找原文中的细节来找到问题的正确答案，让他们能在具体的语言环境中灵活运用，解决阅读难题。

过程和方法：通过教师讲解和学生探究相结合，通过任务型教学和情景教学相结合，让学生在实践中去发现并解决问题。

情感·态度和价值观：培养和鼓励学生自主学习能力，增强学生合作意识，提高学生语言分析能力和自己对事物的正确认识，形成正确的人生观，价值观。

教学重点：让学生理解文章的意思，能通过细节找到问题的答案，逐渐熟悉高考阅读解题技巧。

教学难点：如何运用课内阅读解题技巧去解答高考阅读题。

教学方法：

教法：PWP式阅读教学方法，任务型教学方法，讲授式教学方法

学法：合作式学习，探究式学习，互动式学习。

教学手段：多媒体辅助教学贯穿整个教学过程，增加直观性，加大课堂教学密度，提高教学效果及学生的学习兴趣。

Step 1 Lead-in

Activity:Listening and talking Hear a song You and Me and look some beautiful pictures about Beijing Olympics. Then answer the following questions. Q1:What can you see? Q2:Which Olympic is it ? Q3:Do you think the Olympics are important? （设计说明：学生听2008年北京奥运会歌曲，看北京奥运会相关图片，了解奥运会相关知识，同时集中注意力，期待课堂教学。通过讨论，激起学生大脑中的图示，为阅读提供背景知识。）

Step2 Pre-reading Activity:Prediction Predict the content of the reading based on the title. From the title , what can you guess? How do you understand the word “how “? Then do a quiz according to the following pictures: Q1:What are they? They are Fuwa.(Friendlies) Q2:What do the five rings mean? They mean friendships of five continents. Q3:Do you know the motto of the Olympics? Swifter, higher and stronger.

（设计说明：预测是阅读的重要技能和策略，通过对标题的理解，预测文章，不仅能够为阅读创设任务，还能对how 的理解，为理解文章的写作脉络提供基础。）

While-reading Step3 Scanning and summarizing Scan the first paragraph and answer the following question: Q:What is the speech about ? It’s about the history and significance of the Olympic Games. （设计说明：快速扫读文章，验证猜测，获取信息，训练阅读技能。根据活动细节，概括文章大意，通过完成句子的形式帮助学生减少难度。）

Step4 Fast-reading Summarize the main ideas of four paragraphs Paragraph 1:A brief introduction to the speech. Paragraph2-4 Its history. Paragrah5-8 Some famous athelets. Paragrah9-10 Wish and ending. (设计说明：通过提问相关的细节问题，学生总结段落大意。通过这种先易后难的渐进的方式，学生能够学会通过总结概括段落大意。)

Step5 Careful reading Read the passage carefully and finish parts A, C1 on Page 22, Page 24 Questions in Parts A : Q1:What was Pierre de Coubertin’s hope hope when he brought the Olympic Games back to the life? It would make it possible for people of all countries to live side by side in peace.(Line18-19) Q2:What does the speaker wish for at the end of the speech? He wishes the Olympic Movement a successful future to match its past glory.(Line53-54) C1:Read the speech again. Underline the errors and check them in each sentence.(Omitted,students turn to page 24.)
