Look and say

(P32) Using modelled sentences to state a certain action at a certain time. Eg: It’s time for Chinese class. Using modelled sentences to introduce one’s timetable. Learn the text: a. Read the passage: Today is Monday. Students are talking about their classes. They have six classes. There’re four in the morning and two in the afternoon.

b. Look and read the first dialogue: Danny: Alice, what time is it?

Alice: It’s a quarter past nine, Danny.

Danny: What class do we have now?

Alice: It’s time for Maths class. It’s from 9:15 to 9:50.

Danny: Great! Maths is my favourite subject.

c. Answer the questions about the dialogue.

d. Listen to the second dialogue:

Peter: IT class is over. Alice, what time is it?

Alice: It’s 11:30. It’s time for lunch break.

Peter: Great! After lunch, I can have a break. Let’s take a walk on the playground.
