My family (C. Story time) Ⅰ. Teaching Aims:

a).Knowledge aims: students can master the new words and sentences in this part. b).Ability aims: students can grasp the meaning of story and can also use the target language to make dialogues in real daily life. c).Emotional aims: students love their parents and also love reading stories.

Ⅱ.Teaching Key and Difficult Points: a).Key points: students can understand the meaning of the two sentences: “Wait a minute!” and “How beautiful! ”. b).Difficult points: students can read the story correctly and fluently.

Ⅲ.Teaching Methods: the Communicative Method.

Ⅳ.Teaching aids: the PPT, the pictures, the video.

Ⅴ.Teaching procedures: Step1. Warming up

a).Teacher has some free talk about family with students. b).Teacher can sing the song in “A. Let’s learn”

together with students. Step2. Presentation

a). Review the new words in part A and part B by showing the pictures. b). Review the new sentences in part A and part B by showing the PPT. c).Learn the new words and sentences in the story by showing the pictures and the PPT. Step3.Consolidation

a). Listen to the tape carefully and let students read after the tape correctly. b). Role play: give students 3minutes to prepare the story and then ask some several pairs to role play the story by using the target language. c). Students read the story together fluently. Step4. Sublimation
