一、教材分析

本课选自外研版新标准英语一起三年级下册Reading for pleasure的内容。它是一个经典的英语寓言童话。语句结构难度不大,简单易懂、有趣,能激发孩子们阅读的兴趣。

二、教学目标

语言知识目标:全体学生能读懂故事。

语言技能目标:全体学生能读懂故事,部分学生能自行讲述故事。

文化意识情感态度目标:通过本课学习,使学生明白努力的重要,幸福是奋斗出来的。

三、教学重难点

教学重点:明白故事大意,了解并读懂故事。

教学难点:在了解读懂故事的基础上,自行讲述类似小故事。

四、教学辅助

多媒体课件、单词卡片、物品小卡片。

五、教学策略

开展任务型教学、口语交际教学。

六、教学流程

Warm up: Greeting and sing“ YOU ARE HAPPY.”

Start reading:

1.Show PPT and guess: What do you want to know about Jack ?Read the story and share in your group.

2.The children say something about Jack.

3.Show the giant. The children describe him freely.

4.Take several questions to read the story carefully. Underline the key sentences in the story. Then know about the new words.

5.Watch the story again.

Sum up: Say their harvest.

Homework:

1.Listen and copy to read the story for twice.

2.Tell this story to your friends or families.

3.Find out some good stories and share together.
