Unit 4 What can you do?

教学目标：词汇： rat snake tasty silly, away 句型：What can you do ?I can …….Can you......?Yes,I can. No, I can’t.

教学重点：使学生在相对真实的语境中接触，体验，感悟语言。

教学难点:引导学生讲故事。

教学准备: 多媒体课件, PPT, flash动画。

教学过程: Step Ⅰ Warm-up 1. Free talk.(略) 2、教师播放跟前“ What can

you do?”的录音,全班学生跟着录音大声

唱歌曲,激发学生的学习热情。

了气氛又揭示了本课主题,为接下来的故事教学作好了铺垫。】

Step Ⅱ Pre-reading task(Preview) 1、游戏:石头、剪刀、布。

学生同桌玩

“石头、

剪刀、

布” 的游戏, 赢的一方问:“ What can you do? ”, 输的一方用句型“ I can„”回答。

2、介绍故事 (Introduce the story) T: Now, let’ s see who comes here.(呈现 Snake 的图片) Suddenly, a snake comes, then the animals are frightened. They run away. But the snake caught the rat. Will, this is today’ s story.

Step Ⅲ While-reading task 1、教师出示田鼠和蛇的图片,青学生说说两种动物分别会做什么。

2、教师利用 PPT 呈现图 1,请学生回答:Does the snake want to eat the rat? 然后,教师追问:Can the snake eat the rat?鼓励学生快速读故事并找出

答案:No, the rat can swim away. 3、请学生再度一遍故事,读完后回答下面的问题: Questions: (1) Who are in the story? (2) What is the tasty food? (3) Can the rat sing? (4) Can the rat dance? (5) Is the snake clever?

(6) Can the rat swim? Answers: (1) Rat and snake. (2) A rat. (3) Yes, it can. (4) Yes, it can. (5) No, it’ s silly.

(6) No. Don’ t throw me into the lake, please.

4、学生听完整录音或欣赏故事动画并跟读,提醒学生在跟读的过程中注意

模仿录音中语音、语调。

(1)第一遍听完整录音,指名模仿度跟读; (2)第二遍欣赏故事动画并全班跟读。

【设计意图:让学生带着问题阅读故事或听录音, 可以使他们的注意力高度

集中,读或听的效果更好。】

Step Ⅳ Post-reading task 1、同桌学生分角色朗读,教师及时评价指导。

学生在小组内练习分角色表演故事, 然后教师请两三组学生上讲台表演, 提醒学生表演时要带上适当的表情和动作,鼓励其他学生对同学的表演给出评

价,教师及时补充。最后教师评选出“最佳表演组“,并给予表扬。

Homework: 1、试着与同伴复述故事并与家人分享。

2、可自编小故事或收集阅读其他故事。
