Step 2 Watching a video

Invite the whole class to enjoy a video of Alice in wonderland. Make the students know the purpose of this lesson---to enjoy a beautiful part of Alice in wonderland. Down the rabbit hole. Step 3 Fast -reading Ask the students to open their books,write down the paragraphs in their books.Then read through the article quickly to get the main idea of the two parts of this story. Step 4 Teach Part one Part One Before jumping down the hole 1、Read after the flash in rich emotion. 2、Read Paragraph 1-3 again,then answer some questions:Where did the story happen?Who was in the story?What did Alice do after she heard a sound?What did the rabbit do outside the hole? 3、Talk about the rabbit.What is the rabbit special about? 4、Imagine --What will the rabbit late for? 5、What did Alice do after she saw the amazing rabbit? 6、Imagine--Why did Alice jump down the hole after the rabbit?

Step 4 Teach Part Two

Part Two After jumping down the hole 1、Read after the flash in rich emotion,feel the characters` feelings. 2、Read and feel!

Down down,down,Alice fell for a long time.Then she hit the ground. She found herself alone in a long low hall.Ask the students to read it slowly in rich emotion. 3、How do you know that Alice fell for a long time after she hit the ground?How would Alice feel after she hit the ground?

4、Maybe she felt a little afraid because she had some problems in the hall. 5、What problems did Alice have in the hall?Ask the students to finish the table according to the passage.Retell the information in the table. 6、Imagine--If you were Alice,how would you go through the door? Step 5 Acting--tell the story in class

Encourage students to tell the story in front of the class.They can choose either of the two parts.Four or five students work as a team.The roles are Alice ,the rabbit ,narrator 1 ,narrator 2.
