Teaching aim :

Teaching methods : 1)Design some pictures ,sentences , and a passage to let the students write down the missing words . 2)Use the competition mechanism. Studying methods: Study

Teaching procedures : Step 1 :Read the new words and expressions on P103.(from identify to systematic) 1)Follow the tape to read 2)Follow me to read (using different tones and ways

to teach the students)

Step 2 :

Recite the important words in bold(黑体词) and the other words and phrases (starvation, mat , quilt , beast , sharpener, scraper, messy ,primitive, seashell , needle ) 7 minutes

Step 3 : Test your short-term memory(短时记忆) 1)Look at the pictures and write down the missing words . 2)Go through the passage and write down the missing words . Competition : Rush-to-answer(抢答) Rule : you are divided into two groups, and you rush to answer the questions. If you are right , you can get a flag !
