教学目标：

1、会用How many ...do you know ?提问并作出回答。会用The small one is a ....The big one is a ....说句子。

2、能结合图片，复述这个故事。

3、通过学习这个故事，培养学生爱护动物、保护动物的情感意识。

教学重点：

课件，zoom zip头饰

教学步骤

Step 1: Pre-reading 1、Let’s chant（出示课件）

Cat is fast.Rat is fat. See them run.Fun!Fun!Fun! Monkey is short .Giraffe is tall ! See them play with the ball .

师生一起拍手唱歌谣。

设计意图：通过诵读根据歌曲改编的歌谣，营造学习氛围，让学生快速进入学习状态。

2、Look and say 看课件，同学们一起说出（big tall thin short)这些单词的对应词。

T:Do you like guessing game? Ss:Yes. T:Now listen carefully and guess. 3 、listen and guess 教师播放录音，学生认真听，猜出三种动物。

（1）pig(教师出示猪的绕口令，指名读，然后打节奏齐读。) I see a pig. The pig is big . The pig is pink. A big pink pig. I see a pig. A big pink pig. （2）ostrich (3) rabbit 设计意图：通过复习对应词和听录音猜动物，检查学生对以前知识的掌握情况，也训练了学生的听力。

T:Do you like animals ? S1: Yes ,I do .

T:What about you? S2:Me too. T:How many animals do you know ? 出示课件，让学生说一说认识几种动物，其他学生在心中数一数该生认识多少种动物。

Step 2 While_reading 1、T:It’s story time ,let’s watch a video.please answer the question. Q: Who is talking about the animals? 教师播放故事动画，让学生整体感知故事内容，回答问题。

T:Who can try? Ss:Zoom and zip . 2、T:Let’s read silently Part 1,answer the question. Q: Who knows all the animals? T:Who can answer ? 指名回答。

S1：Zoom. S2:Zoom. 教师出示带有Zoom的课件：Zoom knows all the animals. 教师领读：How many animals do you know ?I know all the animals .这句话几遍，指名读三遍，教师板书上述内容，然后以开火车形式让学生进行问答练习。

3、T:How many animals does Zoom know ? Please read silently Part 2.Then answer the question. Q: How many animals does Zoom know ? 指名回答。

S1:Seven. S2:Eight. T: Seven or eight ?Now please look at Picture 1,who can read ? S1:A tiger and a lion . 教师领读：A tiger and a lion .几遍之后，然后板书： tiger lion 出示小老虎和大狮子图片课件：

T:Look ! Who can read ? S1:The small one is a tiger .The big one is a lion . 教师领读这句话，再以开火车的形式练习。

Teach the other pictures in the same way . 4、T:Please read Part 3 ,who can read? 指名回答。教师领读这两幅图，然后再以开火车的形式读。

教师出示课件，让学生一起读两遍：The small one is a monkey.The big one is a gorilla. 教师指着板书说：Look !How many animals does Zoom know ? 指名回答。

S1:Seven . T:Now please watch the video again , answer the question :Who

is clever? Why ? 教师播放故事视频并跟读，指名回答问题。

设计意图：通过细致读这篇故事，解决了陌生单词，而且也为学生再次阅读扫清单词障碍。

Step 3 Post-reading 1、T:Please read aloud the story,then act it out . 2、Group work:分角色朗读故事（两组）。

3、再读：(教师出示课件）Retell the story.教师首先带有丰富表情复述一遍，然后再请学生到前面复述。

4、表演故事：戴上头饰，分两个角色扮演，其他同学稍后作评价。

5、如果你是作者，你怎样续写这个故事？（请同学发言）

6、出示破坏动物的图片，让学生看一看，指名发表自己的想法。出示课件;Animals are our good friends,we should love animals.学生一起做出心形手势，结束课堂教学。

Homework: 1、把所学故事说给家长听。

2、爱护动物，从我做起。
