Grade 6 本单元是本册的第四单元，本单元以文体运动展开话题，既谈论到了学生的校园生活，也涉及到了个人擅长的体育爱好。内容围绕运动项目名称、描述自己最喜欢的或擅长的体育名称展开。本课时以Part A中的Let’s talk 为主，通过学习本单元Teaching 的功能句型“What sport did you take part in? I took part content in the … Did you win? Yes. I was the first in…”，引导学生养成健康的生活和休闲方式，增强他们积极参与文体活动、积极锻炼、增强体魄的意识。鼓励学生积极参与体育运动，培养学习的体育兴趣和爱好。

Step1. Warming-up and leading-in

设计意图：通过一首有趣的歌曲结合动感的视频引入并复习

已经学过的有关运动项目的词汇。同时激发了学生上英语课的兴

2. Free talk T： Wow! I’m so tired. Are you tired? Ss:Yes T:Yes.Me,too.I’m so tired but very happy.Because I like sports very much. Do you like sports? Ss: Yes. 设计意图：拉近与学生的距离，制造悬疑，提出问题，激发学生的好奇心和求知欲，快速的将学生引入课堂中。

Step2. New presentation 1.Study and in situation The teacher shows the pictures of sports and talk with the students. T: Look at the pictures about sports! Please look and say. What’s your favorite sport? Ss: My favorite sport is…

T: How often do you play it? Ss: I play it... T: Can you guess what’s my favorite sport? Ss: No. 2. Watch a video about school sports meeting and talk with the partner. 设计意图：播放学校运动会视频创设情境，结合运动项目的图片,引导学生复习句型“What’s your favorite sport? My favorite sport is…How often do you play it? I play it...”自然而然地引出本课新句型“What sport did you take part in? I took part in…”为文本学习提供背景做好铺垫。
