本单元主要围绕“动物”的话题展开，主要学习使用Look at the….It’s … It has…等句型，学习描述动物体型和身体部位特征的有关句型。本课时是本单元的复习课，通过复习颜色、身体部位、形容词和动物类单词，引出书本中的朋友Nick喜欢动物，去动物园的情景，复习、操练It is…和It has…句型，完成Start to read 内容，学生用相关句型编谜语，最后创编英语小故事“小蝌蚪找妈妈”，综合运用语言，拓展知识，让学生对故事产生阅读的兴趣，为以后的阅读能力打下基础。

教学目标

（1）复习并熟练掌握本单元所学的词汇tall, short, fat, thin, big, small, long的认读。

（2）熟练运用相关句型: Look at the….It’s… It has…

等表达动物的体态特征。

（3）能运用重点句式在情境中进行灵活运用。
