【教学内容】

词汇学习:pea、pod、forever、bigger、excited、bullet、lazy ,see the world , one by one , look out of 句型学习:Five peas lived together in a pod ; We will leave this pod and see the world The first pea fell on a roof and a bird ate it。

能借助图片和上下文语境提示对图片内容进行简单描述。

【教学目标】

通过读完整故事,帮助学生感受五颗小豌豆的命运变化,激发阅读兴趣。

通过详读故事第一部分,帮助学生理解每颗豌豆的理想。

了解故事发展和结局,帮助学生建立豌豆的理想和命运之间的联系。

出示豌豆、豆荚图片,根据图片提问,学习新单词pea、pod的发音。

What are they? They are peas. (pea---peas) What is it? It’s a pod.

学生朗读单词: pea、 peas、 pod然后让学生做第一个小练习,联系图片和语境完成豌豆和豆荚的自述。(为学生创设一个时间概念上的情景,为下文中遇到的一般将来时的语言表达做铺垫)

Hello! Girls and boys. We are peas. This pod is our home. It is long and green in spring. We live together now, because we are small. We are not strong. 观看夏季豌豆图片,朗读豌豆的自述,有助于下文中形容词比较级(bigger、stronger)的初步理解。

One day, they are talking in their home. What are they talking about? Who wants to be the first pea? (Choose five students to role the five peas.) You are the first pea. S1: There’s no window、no light in our home. I can’t see anything with my eyes. Who wants to be the second pea? S2: I can’t see too, but I can hear the world with my ears.

Listen!...(播放声音资料) S3: The world is very big. There are so many things in the world. We can hear the world with our ears, but we can’t ____ ____ __ with our eyes.

T: Will the five peas live in a pod always? S: No, they won’t.

播放文本朗读材料, 学生尝试复述, 师生合作尝试写出所听句子

S4: Will we live here forever?(尝试用读音来拼写单词forever,用always帮助学生理解单词forever, 注意一般疑问句的朗读语调) T: Now, you are the five peas. What will you do? Please tell us with the world “leave”.

教学反思:

本课呈现了五颗豌豆的不同命运,抱有远大理想的第一颗豌豆被鸽子吃掉了,雄心勃勃的第二颗豌豆掉进了水桶,懒惰的第三颗,第四课豌豆被两只鸡吃掉了,只想做点有用的事情的第五颗豌豆脚踏实地,长出豆苗,鼓舞了一个生病的小姑娘,最终达到愿望。借助故事情节与学生讨论理想和现实的关系,让学生初步谈谈自己的理想。
