1、通过读完故事,帮助学生感受五颗小豌豆的命运变化,激发阅读兴趣。
2、能用一般过去时简单讲述故事。
3.通过详读故事第一部分(图1-5),帮助学生理解没课豌豆的理想。
过程与方法:培养学生迅速查找关键信息的阅读技能。
情感态度与价值观:
通过了解故事发展,结局,学生尝试结合语境谈论自己的理想,能够描述情感。
1.词汇学习:
see the world, one by one。
句型复习: Five peas lived together in a pod .. 日常用语:We’ll leave this pod and see the world. 2.了解故事大意。

T: Today we ‘ ll read his story “The five peas ”. 2、出示豆荚、豌豆以及豌豆等图片,根据图片提问。
T; What can see a big green pod and some peas. S2:I can see some small flowers. 学生大声朗读单词:pod, pea,然后让学生描述豆荚和豌豆。
S:I can see a green pod。There are some small peas in it. The peas are round.
教师及时发现学生的问题,鼓励学生大胆练习和运用。教师加强指导,多方面促进学生的英语口语表达能力和表达愿望。

激起学生的学习兴趣,为单词的学习打下
基础。
While-task procedures 1.Play the full video of the story, let the students understand the
content of the story as a whole. please ask the individual student 。
1)Ask: What is the story about ?
Answer :It is about five peas 。
2)T: What did the fifth pea want to do ? S : He wanted to do something useful . 3)T : What happed to the fifth pea at last ? S: He grew into a plant . 2.show the story of the first five picture, please look at pictures, answer the questions 。
Picture 1 1)What can you see in the picture ? S:I can see a pod and five peas. 2) What colour is the peas live ? S : The pod is green . 3)Where do the peas live ? S:The five peas live in a pod. Picture 2 1)Who is in the picture ? S 1: A boy. 2) What does the boy do in the picture ? 问答引出新句子,激发学生兴趣,提高学生的积极性。
分图讨论。完成课本后面的练习。
学生逐图回答问题,理解课文内容。

S 1:He puts the pod in his pocket. Picture 4 Look at the peas. What are they doing ? S :They are thinking about their future . Picture 5 What is the boy doing ? S :He is shooting the peas . 3、教学图1至内容。
1)播放图1 的录音,学生边听边逐句跟读,然后回答问题。
T: What are the peas talking about in the pod ? S 1:Another pea answered “No. We’ll grow bigger and stronger. Then one day ,we ‘ll leave this pod and see world .”
帮助学生理解bigger ,stronger ,和 see the world 的含义,然后让学生 和同桌齐读旁白部分,再分别扮演两颗豌豆进行对话。
2) play the recording of figure 2 and figure 3, please every class. Teachers explain the new words and phrases and focus on reading, such as pick the pod, excited, take out of, make good bullets. Then the teacher questions, students answer. T :Did the peas grow bigger and bigger ? S 1:Yes,they did . T :What did the boy do when he saw the pod ? S 2: He picked the pod . T: Were the peas happy or sad about this ? Why ? S 3: They were very excited , because they would see the world soon. T :The boy took the peas out of the pod and what did he say ? 读。读出语气的不同。
练习分角色表演。
同法学习后面几幅图。
角色扮演,学生集体评价。

S 4 :He said ,”You ‘ll make good bullets .”
4、播放图4和5 的录音,请学生逐句跟读,尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。教师对其中的单词、词组、句子等进行解释并带领学生朗读,如 Lazy,happy ,anywhere ,do something useful .然后请学生根据豌豆的话语,指出图中的豌豆的话语,指出图中的豌豆分别是第几颗。最后完成配对练习。
