教材分析
本节课是北京出版社出版的义务教育教科书英语六年级上册Unit 2 Lesson7 listen and say的内容。本单元的话题是健康,主要涉及运动健康和饮食健康。单元教学重点是询问他人身体状况及回答、说明状况发生原因及如何针对特定情况给出合理建议。本单元共有三课新授课,Lesson5主要谈论Mike因为练习倒立导致脖子疼去看医生,医生询问情况,Mike说明原因,医生建议Mike去拍X光片。Lesson6讲了Yangyang踢足球腿受伤,妈妈提醒他要小心。Lesson 7讲了piggy吃多了肚子疼,医生建议他少吃点,多做运动。
学情分析
六年级2班共有32名学生,他们从一年级开始学习英语,已经五年多了。大部分学生有良好的英语基础,喜欢英语活动,愿意用英语表现自己,学习英语的积极性非常高。但也有个别学生基础薄弱,不敢或羞于表现自己。学生在四年级下第2单元已经学习了询问身体状况的功能句:What’s wrong with you? I have a headache/stomachache/fever/toothache. Does he have the flu/a runny nose/a cough/a sore throat. I’m afraid not. What’s the matter with you? My right leg/my finger/ hurts.这些为本单元的内容做了铺垫。本节课的内容有一定的趣味性,能够引起学生的兴趣,但 stomachache, a big bowl of soup, a big piece of chocolate cake, honey cookies, pills, a long walk, exercise单词的理解和读音有一定的难度,在课堂上需要着重解决。
教学目标
1. 学生能正确理解对话,尝试朗读对话。
2. 学生能在图片、动作和语境中理解单词stomachache, a big bowl of soup, a big piece of chocolate cake, honey cookies, drank,ate,pills, a long walk, exercise,的含义,能够认读单词。
3. 学生能够用You should……语句对他人提可行的建议。
4. 引导学生注意生活中的饮食安全,多做运动,增强健康意识。

教学过程
Step 1 Review Lesson 9 1.
学生展示
Who’s on duty today? It’s me. I’m Yangyang. I’m Yangyang’s mum. ……

教师提问,引导学生回答:
Who are they? (Yangyang and Yangyang’s mum.) What happened to Yangyang? (Yangyang played football and hurt his right leg.) Was his mum happy? (No, she was upset. She was worried about Yangyang.) What should Yangyang do? (Yangyang should be very careful.) (设计意图:学生展示,为学生提供表达的机会。通过回答老师问题,帮助学生从整体到细节更深刻地理解掌握6课对话内容。)
Step 2 Listen and say 1.谈论主题图:
Who is he? ( Little piggy) What is he doing? (He is crying.) What happened to Little piggy? 板书课题

2.整体感知对话
播放动画并提出问题:What happened to Little piggy? 学生观看动画思考并回答问题:Little piggy has a stomachache. 学习stomachache. (设计意图:学生通过整体观看动画,整体感知动画谈论的是little Piggy 胃疼。帮助学生理解单词是由stomach和ache两部分合成的,理解其含义。)
3.理解对话细节:

学习对话前半部分

观看动画,回答问题,:
T:What happened to his stomach? Ss:He ate too much. (设计意图:通过观看完整对话,从整体上感知Little piggy吃的太多了。)
②再次观看动画,回答问题:
What did he have for lunch today? A.
学生自由说,根据学生说的答案依次将图案点出。
(设计意图:再观动画,了解Little piggy吃了哪些食物。)
B.理解词语意思
Did little piggy drink a small bowl of soup? No, he drank a big bowl of soup.(将soup变大,让学生体会a big bowl of soup.) He ate chocolate cake. 边说边裁剪,He ate a piece of chocolate cake.将蛋糕变大,he ate a big piece of chocolate cake. 呈现honey ,理解honey cookies. (设计意图:通过白板对图片的剪裁、变大等进一步理解单词 a big bowl of soup, a big piece of chocolate cake, honey cookies的含义。)
C.板书 (重点处理单词ate 和drank.) What happened to little piggy? He has a stomachache. Because he ate too much. 学习ate He drank a big bowl of soup. 学习drank. He had some rice with fish and vegetables. He had a big piece of chocolate cake and honey cookies. (设计意图:板书回顾What happened to little piggy?理解单词ate和drank。)

Step 3 Production 1.
看板书梳理梳理本课内容。

创设情境,出示little piggy图片,little piggy is coming? What will you say to little piggy? 3.
Let’s do exercise together.
(设计意图:给学生创设一个相对真实的语言环境,让学生给little piggy 提建议,最后再跟着little piggy 一起take a long walk.)
Step 4 Homework Read the dialogue 3 times.
