教材分析

本节课的内容是人教版PEP小学英语三年级上Unit 4 We love animals. Part A. Let’s learn,和let’s do.主要是学习五种动物的英文名称:cat, dog, pig, duck, bear以及会说唱歌谣。《PEP 小学英语》体现了较强的交际教学思想,注重学生综合语言运用能力的培养。本节课设计的重点是把词汇放在能听、能看的情境中去,将静态的文字变得生动起来,使学习内容活起来,力争将教学内容内化到学生的认知结构中并通过表演等综合语言活动将其转化为一定的语言表达能力,从而体现话题——功能——结构——任务结合起来的总思路。

教学流程

一、热身(Warm -up)

1. Greetings(师生问好)

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss Lang.

T: How are you?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you. How are you?

T: Very well, thanks.

T: Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

2. Let’s sing. Old MacDonald

二、新课呈现(Presentation)

T:今天老师带你们逛农场(Today I will take you to my farm. Welcome to my farm. Today we will see some friends about animals on the farm. Who are they? Now let’s go and have a look.)

1. Let’s learn and Let’s chant

(1)Learn the new word: cat

利用课件出示一张幻灯片,以guessing game的形式让学生猜第一种动物:cat

T: The first animal is coming. Now you look at its tail. Guess what’s this?

学生出示自己手中的图片,对的学生就把手举起来。接着学生和老师一起书写并教读单词。

T: cat, cat, cat. Please look at my mouth.

以大小声读,开小火车读或点个别同学读等形式操练学生读单词.

学生通过cat的读音,自己尝试读出fat这个单词,T shows the picture, Ss understand the meaning of fat. Then read the sentence ( Look

at the cat. It is fat.) after teacher again and again.

(2)同样的方法教授单词pig, dog, duck和bear。

Look at the pig. It is big.

Look at the dog. It’s on the log.

Look at the duck. It’s in the truck.

Look at the bear. It’s on the pear.

2. Practice: (1)T shows the picture and asks the students to say out English or Chinese.

(2)I do you say.

3. Ss open the book and read the chant by themselves, then they listen to the chant and read it together.

4. Summary:

We have learned five animals. Animals are our friends, we should protect and love them.

5. Homework:

Read and talk about the animals with your partner or your parents. 板书设计:Unit 4 We love animals.
