tape Teaching processes: 一、presentation step 1 T show the heroes in kinds of ? and ask who are they? Then show : heroes

then teach: hero and heroes then ask :why are they heroes?

step 2 T ask : did you have a summer camp? Then teach: camp

T say :four children are having a summer camp. They are Bill , Chen Zihan , Sally and Li yu . T ask pupils to read the first passage and think :what are they talking about ? SS read and then answer

Step 4 T play the tape

Listen and think :who are their heroes? T ask pupils to complete 1b T check the answers In this stage teach : scientist, footballer SS read the sentences Step 5 T play the tape

SS find out the new words T check and teach:

hybrid rice , die ,move ,brave , wise ,woman, everything , look after , give up

T ask SS to read the passages and think : why are they their heroes? SS work

T check the answers and guide SS to read

Step 6 Show the table and ask :who is your hero? Why?
