随着社会经济的发展和人民物质水平的日益提高，合理健康的饮食习惯已经成为人们关注的重点。这个话题和学生的生活和健康密切相关。本课时对比介绍了Mike和Yang Ling的日常饮食习惯，以及呈现健康饮食金字塔和一个问题，引发学生的思考。教学中，教师可要求学生根据健康饮食金字塔，分析Mike和Yang Ling的日常饮食习惯是否健康，并分析自己的饮食习惯是否合理，适时渗透健康教育，引导学生树立合理饮食，健康生活的观念。

1、通过学习，学生能听懂、会说、会读话题和功能：Food, Quantity。

2、通过学习，学生能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型和日常用语：He has a lot of / some noodles/meat. She eats a few eggs / a little rice.。

3、通过学习，学生能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇：healthy, diet, a little, a few, need。

4、通过学习，学生能听懂、会说、会读词汇：at a time, cola。

5、通过课文学习，帮助学生理解并掌握“健康饮食”的英语语言知识，发展学生的听说读写技能，学生能正确区分和运用可数名词和不可数名词，能正确理解和初步运用a few, a little, a lot of, some以及与可数名词和不可数名词的搭配，形成用英语与他人交流的能力，进一步促进学生思维能力的发展，提高学生的综合人文素养。

通过课文学习，帮助学生理解并掌握“健康饮食”的英语语言知识，发展学生的听说读写技能，学生能正确区分和运用可数名词和不可数名词，能正确理解和初步运用a few, a little, a lot of, some以及与可数名词和不可数名词的搭配，形成用英语与他人交流的能力，进一步促进学生思维能力的发展，提高学生的综合人文素养。

3、学生预习Story time，听录音，模仿朗读，读熟，划出新授单词、句子，可以写好音标，不懂的查字典。
