教学目标:

语言技能:通过Ask and answer 问答练习让学生操练核心句型,通过信息差活动,实现语言的意义性操练和运用。

情感态度:让学生们可以初步了解各个城市,可以热爱祖国的大好河山。

Pre-task preparations 1.

让学生说说暑假或是国庆的旅游活动,介绍旅游城市,如北京,并出示北京的图片,补充说明北京是中国的首都。

T:How was your summer holiday? S1: It was fun. I went to Beijing with my parents. We went to the Great Wall, Tian’anmen Square and the Palace Museum. T: (PPT呈现北京的图片) This is Beijing. Beijing is the capital of China. 2.

让学生举例说出中国其他著名的城市,出示相关城市如上海,杭州等图片,让学生根据图片猜猜是哪个城市。

While-task procedures 1.

出示世界地图,指出著名的城市如巴黎,伦敦等,出示相关的图片和词汇Paris,London, France, the UK,让学生将这些城市和相应的国家进行配对。板书单词capital,领读句子,学生齐读。

T:Paris is the capital of France. London is the capital of the UK.问学生Which city is the capital of China?板书Beijing is the capital of China.让学生齐读句子。

出示中国地图,想让学生找出北京和上海所在的位置,出示板书并让学生齐读句型Beijing is in the north of China. Shanghai is in the east of China. 出示Look and learn 的方位图并教学单词,让学生拼读。然后出示世界地图,让学生找出伦敦,东京所在的位置,试着说说它们的方位。

3.出示表格,播放Listen and say 录音,要求学生根据录音内容先完成表格中的信息,引出句型How long does it take to get to Shanghai from Beijing by train? From: Beijing Where? 播放Listen and say 的录音,学生模仿朗读,分角色读,齐读。
