Step One: Pre-task preparations 1.

Daily Greeting Greet students. 目的：日常问候，将学生带入英语学习的氛围中。

Free-talk Students and the teacher talk freely about their friends to introduce the topic. T: Who is your best friend in our class? S1:...is my best friend. T: Where does he come from? S1: He comes from China. He is a Chinese. T: Do yo have friends from other countries? S1: No. I don’t.

T: Do you want to have a foreign friend? S1: Yes. ... 目的：询问几位学生他们最好的朋友是谁，并问他们是否有外国朋友，从而引出交个外国朋友的话题。

Step two: While-task procedures 1.

Create an English studying situation The teacher shows E-friend Club and introduce the teacher’s e-friend in this club. T: Look. I have an e-friend. Her name is Reza. I know her from this E-friend Club. Do you want to know her? Ss: Yes. T: Look! We talked through Wechat.If you were me,What would you like to know about her? S1: I would like to know where is she from. S2: I would like to know about her favourite food. S3: I would like to know about her hobby. S4: I would like to know her age. T: If you ask about her age, I think she must be very angry. Do you know why? (show the micro-class online video to the students telling them that it’s impolite to ask foreigners’

age) T: After watching the video, we know we can’t ask her age. 目的：创设网友俱乐部的情境，在情境中学习。出示老师外国朋友的聊天记录,利用所学句型与学生进行问答，并利用微课进行中西文化差异的讲解。

Step Three: Post-task activities 1.

Think and write Let students finish Think and write. T：Gary is e-friend of Kitty. Now let’s help Gary write an email back to Kitty. 目的：学生依据Think and write第一个表格提供的信息，帮助Gary完成回邮）

Choose your e-friend The teacher shows some pictures of her foreign friends and let students choose one of them to be their e-friend. Write an email on the work sheet. Then invite some of them to show their emails. 目的：教师再次向学生展示网友俱乐部，学生选择自己感兴趣的朋友，并在任务单上写一封邮件给他，与课前创设的情境呼应。同时提高学生英语的综合应用能力。
