Module5 Unit2 They were young. 一、教学目标：

1.知识目标：能听懂并说出单词：grandparents, old, young, then, beautiful 和功能句：They weren’t old then. They were very young. She wasn’t tall then. She was short. It wasn’t clean then. It was dirty. 2.技能目标：能灵活运用功能句，并能说明某人或某物过去的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

3.情感目标

通过多种多样的教学方法，使学生保持持久的学习兴趣，勇于创新。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主劝请教。

二、教学重、难点：

重点：能在实际中运用一般过去时描述人或事物的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

难点：能准确的读出“wasn’t, weren’t”并能正确的运用。

三、教学方法：

基于对教学理念、教材分析、学生分析、教学目标、重难点的分析，我采用了以下教学方法：

1.任务型教学方法。

2.图片展示法。

3.交流法。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up（热身活动）

1. Greetings 2. Enjoy a song <> 3.Dividing the students into two groups. Step 2 Revision and leading-in （复习导入）

Reading a chant: Tall, tall. I am tall. Short,short. You are short. Fat,fat. He is fat. Thin,thin. She is thin. Naughty,naughty.It is naughty. Old,old. They are old. Young,young. We are young. 2.出示图片。

T:（出示第一幅图片.）Do you know who is he? S:He is ...... T:He is .....（引导学生描述身高）

3.师出示另一副图片，引出头发的长短。

4.出示am.is are 的过去式。

Step 3 Presentation(课文新授) 1.

Asking the students to take their photos to find the difference.（在这个过程中，老师根据孩子所说引导出另一种说法，如：I was short then ./I wasn’t tall then ）

2.Showing the pictures and asking the students the difference of the butterfly 、grandparents、 girl and the class. 3.According to the picture to lead in the new words. 4.Playing games to practice the words. Step 4 Practice 1.

Showing the pictures to ask the students to finish it. 2.

Talking yourself. 3.

Read and circle，finish the part 3. Step 3 Summary What did you learn? Step 5 Homework 1. Read the text.
