设计意图

课堂的问候和课前预热的交流，可以激发学生已有的语言知识，字谜游戏的让学生快速回忆节日类单词，从而自然引出本课主题词“Thanksgiving”.同时师生交流中引出本节课主线“四个关于谈论节日的问题”

从之前热身环节引出的四个问题入手，让学生谈谈对感恩节的已知。

培养学生听力理解大意能力

提出问题并解决问题，在文本的基础上让生了解感恩节更丰富的节日特色。

四个学生为一组，每人有一张学习单，先自主完成图片找异同，再书写旁边的空白，最后小组一起交流。(5分钟）

1-2组展示（2分钟）

从四个方面总结对于感恩节的介绍，检测学生对于该内容的掌握程度，并为之后拓展到春节的描述做铺垫。

Step3. Production

1.Thanksgiving is very important in the US. There are lots of festivals in China. Which festival is important in China?

2. I think Chinese New Year is the most important festival in China. Let’s watch the video about Chinese New Year.

3.Ask the four questions about Chinese New Year.（粘贴板书）

4. Find the same points and different points between Thanksgiving and Chinese New Year.（先PPT示范前两项）

5. Conclusion: Cultures are different, so the festivals are different, but the happy feelings are the same. Boys and girls, let’s enjoy all the festivals! 通过对感恩节的学习和了解，让生思考中国的重要节日，为之后中西方节日对比做铺垫。

通过微视频的学习，让学生全面了解中国春节，了解中国传统文化。并能了解对于春节的习俗的英语表达。

小组合作思考并找出感恩节和春节的异同，让学生在中西方节日对比中感受文化的异同。

引导学生了解和尊重中西方节日文化异同，并享受节日的快乐！
