一、教学目的：

复习所学基数词，以及1至12月的月份名称。

2．

基数词，序数词的听、说、读、写及运用，尤其是1至12的序数词。

二、教学重点：

1．

能正确听、说、读、写，运用基数词、序数词。

2．句型“Li Ming is the first. The girl is the second. The boy in red short is the third. January is the first month.”的运用。

三、教学过程：

（一）Class opening and review 1、Greeting : T:Good morning,class. Ss:Good morning,teacher. T:Today will learn Lesson8. （二）New concepts Step 1.Race and introduce ordinal numbers. Read Part1.Let the students read after me. T：Now we will have a race .Who wants to be the volunteers ? T: Tell them how to play this game . Let three students come to the blackboard to have the race. Ask students:Who is the first? Who is the second? Who is the third? The students answer:“Xxis the first. Xx is the second. Xx is the third.”并板书. 板书成如下格式：

tenth eleventh twelfth Let the students read the words and write them on their exercise books. Let them read the words. Step 2 : Practice. Do the practice again. Let them have a race again.Practice the sentences in Part 1 again. Step 3 :Practice Part2. T:Which month is the first month? S:January is the first month. The teacher asks and the students answer. Then divide the students into groups.Do the practice .Let them practice “Which month is the first/second/third month…?”
