本单元是辽师大版《快乐英语》第一册第七单元，本单元的话题是表达有关个人情况的简单信息，功能是了解和运用介绍自己、描述自己的基本表达形式。通过本单元教学使学生教材能够听、说、认读新授单词big, small, long, short在真实情景中利用本单元核心语言分析

介绍自己、描述自己。本课时内容比较贴近学生生活，通过自我介绍，调动学生学习的积极性，培养他们运用英语进行表达和交流的能力。

本课教学对象为三年级的学生，他们初接触英语，没什么英语基础，根据其年龄特点和认知规律，必须采用双语教学，用汉语辅助理解，授课时，我奉行面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，注重因材施教，运用分层教学，把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位。通过自制学情分析

课件，绘制单词卡，让学生欣赏他们喜闻乐见的动漫人物等展开直观教学，引导学生端正学习态度，主动探究，使其能够掌握良好的学习方法，培养他们良好的学习英语的习惯，为以后的英语学习打好坚实基础。
