Step1:Free talk

T:Who’s the woman in the picture?

Ss: She’s our Math teacher.

T: Is she funny?

Ss: No,she isn’t.

T: Is she kind?

Ss: Yes,she is.

设计意图:通过愉快的谈话,从学生熟悉的同学和老师问起,营造轻松的学习氛围。

Step2: Presentation

1. Ask a student to stand up and ask:“Who can say something about him / her?”,“He / She does a lot for our class. He / She helps clean the blackboard, clean t he windows… So he / She is a helpful student.”。

设计意图:让学生简单用英语表达,将新知与旧知识的融会贯通,提升语言运用能力。

2. Chant:

Clever, clever._______ is clever.

Shy, shy. ________ is shy.

Outgoing, outgoing. ________ is outgoing .

Serious, serious. ________ is serious.

Kind, kind. _________ is kind .

Friendly, friendly. _________ is friendly.

Hard-working, hard- working. ______ is hard-working. 设计意图:在说唱中学会表达一个人的性格特征。

3. Come to “Let’s talk”

Listen to the text and try to answer the following questions:

What does Kevin think of their Math teacher?

Does K evin’s sister like Ms.May?

1.Recite the dialogue.

2.Introduce your father or mother to your friends and try to write it down.

设计意图:作业分等级,作业1全部同学都做,作业2提供给学有余力的同学拔高联系。通过简单的写作练习,达到知识的巩固与提高。
