Teaching aims:

1.The students will be able to listen, speak, read and write the words: Monday, Tuesday; and the sentences: When do you have PE lessons? We have PE lessons on Monday and Tuesday.

2.The students will get to know the knowledge and skills through group activities and games.

3.The students will learn to love sports.

Teaching Process

Step 1. Warming up

1.Let’s chant together.

2.Gao Wei is coming.He has some questions for us.Let’s see.

Step 2. Presentation

1.When Gao Wei says:I like PE best. I like sports.Use this sentence and some pictures to teach:sports.

2.Give me a quick answer, please. What’s the first/second/third day of the week?To review Sunday and teach new words:Monday and Tuesday. And tell them how incomes these days.

3.Gao Wei likes sports, so he comes to a PE class. Let’s listen what are they talking about.

Step 3. Practice

1.Listen to the dialogue and repeat it.

2.Role play.

3.Let’s do some mind sports.

Step 4. Extension

1.Make a new timetable with your partners.

2.Create a new dialogue with your partners.

Homework:

Must do: Finish the exercise in Lesson 20.

Choose to do:Talk about your timetable with different partners.
