Teaching stages: Ⅰ. Warming-up 1.

T:Hello boys and girls.Good morning!(师生问好) Today we will talk about colours. What colours have you learned?(复习旧知) (学生“随机功能”回答问题Stimulate students to find out some colours that they have learned) S: red,yellow,blue,black...(随机功能)

出示幻灯片(What colour is it?)

T:I have some colourful balloon.Can you tell me ,what colour is it? And how to spell it. (出示幻灯片) (The first one is red. How to spell red. RED…)

气球幻灯片,学生读单词并复习拼写。

Ⅱ. New Concepts

1.

T: What colours do you like? (学生回答)What is your favourite colour?(学生回答)

2.

Teacher: My favourite colour is blue. What is your favourite colour?(师生对话)

T:OK! Look at here and read after me.(出示幻灯片,重点句型,反复读,学生跟读)

Students: What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is… …is my favourite colour

(Show them different ways to response the sentences.)

Activity T: Now, I will give you 2 minutes to make up dialogues with your partner .Please use these sentences .OK? Begin! ( Teacher walk around students to check their work and offer help as long as possible.请两至三组学生表演对话。) 4.Listen to the tape (1)T:Now,opten your book, turn to page 50.Let’s listen to the part 1. Before listening to the tape ,I have three questions(出示幻灯片)。Listen carefully. (转课文,播音) 学生回答问题(抢答方式“Can you tell me?”)读、翻译、回答。

(2)T:Now listen to me. I have other questions. Panel1 What colour is Mr. Wood’s trousers?

Panel 3、4 There are four words in these pictures , who can read sentences and translate into Chinese?

拍手读词,三遍。最后一遍边做动作边读。

Mix colours Teacher: Just now, we talked about many kinds of colours. But today I only take eight colours with me . They are red, yellow, blue, white,green,pink,brown and black. ( show students the pigments and encourage them to say them in English). We can try to mix any two of them and receive new colours.(学生拿出彩笔)

T:Did you have “red”? Did you have “yellow”? Did you have “blue”?

Part 3(出示幻灯片) ( give students 3 minutes to create new colours with the five colours. After the activity, invite some of them to express how to make green, orange, purple etc.)

Result: Red and blue make purple. Red and yellow make orange. Blue and yellow make green.

Red and blue and yellow make black.

Ⅲ. Homework. T:Ask your family members what their favourite colour are,finsh the chart.
