一、教学内容：北京版小学英语五年级上册Unit3 Can you tell me more about the Mid-Autumn Festival ？第二课时，Lesson 10。

二、教材分析：

本节课是北京版小学英语五年级上册Unit3 Can you tell me more about the Mid-Autumn Festival，本单元是围绕中西方传统节日与饮食这一话题。话题较熟悉，在二年级上册It’s Christmas Day一单元中，学生初步了解了新年、圣诞节等节日，三年级又学习了劳动节、儿童节、国庆节等大家熟悉的节日及表达相关的活动，如“We are going to visit the Great Wall”。在三年级上册学习了日期表达法，如序数词、月份等，三年级下册学习了英国国家特色食物及中国特色餐饮，如biscuits、chocolates、jiaozi、noodles等。虽然都是学过的话题，但重点是中国传统节日是按照农历制定的，与公历日期不一样的表达。本节课可以使学生在Lesson9学习中国传统节日表达基础上进一步了解中国传统文化。

三、学情分析：

授课班级是白庙小学五年级（1）班，从二年级开始就一直教他们英语，对每个孩子都比较了解。但这个班级不太活跃，纪律上自我约束力差和总需要提醒的还有几名同学。因此，课前会结合评比榜提要求，激励同学们踊跃回答问题并保持良好的坐姿。此外，知识基础方面，有关食物的内容很贴近学生们的生活，学生们学的也很有兴致，积极性很高，掌握的也很扎实。Lesson9学过4个中国传统节日，并学习了农历的表达，通过已有基础，活动和饮食的文化也可以说出来一2

些。所以本课以重点介绍中国传统节日重阳节为主，提高学生文化素养。

四、设计理念：

通过中国传统节日的学习和农历的表达，了解节日文化、特色饮食及传统活动，促进学生文化素养的提高，增加爱国情怀。

五、教学目标：

1、学生能用“When is the……”询问重阳节的日期并做出回答。

2、学生能围绕重阳节进行简单交流，如传统节日、传统活动等。

3、学生能区别中国四个重要传统节日的特色食品、传统活动和其相关表达。

4、学生能够正确朗读并理解对话内容。

六、教学重点：

1、学生能够用“When is the……”询问重阳节的日期并做出回答。

2、学生能围绕重阳节进行简单交流，如传统食品、传统活动等。

3、能够正确朗读并理解对话内容。

七、教学难点：

1、学生能围绕重阳节进行简单交流，如传统食品、传统活动等。

2、学生能够正确流利的表达出中国传统节日的农历日期。

二、Leading Riddle game :

T：We have learned some traditional festivals in Lesson 9. Now let’s play a game“Riddle game”. Riddle 1: We have dragon boat races.

It’s on the fifth day of the fifth month in the Chinese calendar.

Q：What do we eat on the Dragon boat Festival？

Riddle 2: It’s in the first month or the second month.

We watch the fireworks.

We visit the relatives. Q：What do we eat on the Spring Festival？

Riddle 3: We watch the lantern shows.

We get together after the Spring Festival. Q: What do we eat on the Lantern Festival？

三、Presentation 1、Look at a video

T: We have a traditional festival, it’s a special day for Chinese old people.

T：（Yes，it’s the Double Ninth Festival.）Let’s look at a video. T：When is the Double Ninth Festival？

It’s on the ninth day of the ninth month in the Chinese calendar.

2、The customs of the Double Ninth Festival

T：What do people do in the Double Ninth Festival

T：You can speak in Chinese . (可能说出爬山，吃重阳糕)

（1）Climbing mountains

（2）Eat the Double-ninth cake

T：We eat moon cake on the Mid-autumn Festival. Can you guess these kinds of cakes’ name?

(3) Enjoy Chrysanthemum（菊花）flowers (PPT)

T: What are they doing ? Do you know these flowers?

(4) Drink the Chrysanthemum wine (PPT)

T: What are they doing ? Drink wine or water? Why?

T：Yes，they are drinking the Chrysanthemum wine for dispel the disaster. (5) Wearing the cornel (PPT)

T: Do you know the flower ?

T: What do people do with the flowers ? Just enjoy it like Chrysanthemum?

T: No，people don’t just enjoy ,they also wear the flowers for keeping away from the disaster. 【设计意图】扩充学习和了解重阳节的习俗及活动的意义。

T: Look at these pictures, the Double Ninth Festival is the traditional Chinese festival for the elderly.

3、Introduce the Double Ninth Festival to Mike

T: These are the customs about the Double Ninth Festival.

T: We have two foreign friends , this class we will introduce the Double Ninth Festival to Mike. Now let’s listen and learn.

五、Homework Learn the origins(由来) of the Double Ninth Festival and the poetry（诗词歌赋）about the Double Ninth Festival on your own . (Maybe you can check them on the internet or by reading books.)

1、课程设置结构不合理，内容有难度，目的是增加文化的熏陶，但是英文呈现出来的太难了，适得其反，会影响孩子学习英语的积极性和兴趣。

2、内容应首先以完成教参规定的教学任务为目标，此基础上进行扩展。

3、教学方式和活动单一，学生参与度不高。师生互动和生生互动很少或者没有，有关节日的课应是话题很多的课堂，应多设置讨论环节，给孩子们发挥、想象和交流的空间和时间。

4、知识基础和传授都不够扎实，一堂课下来，学生学到的不明确。应及早巩固和补充Lesson9所学中国农历表达，加强对基础的新知识的学习和练习。

5、平时多关注、多亲近孩子，增加师生情感和课堂的默契度，多鼓励他们大胆的表达，敢于说，努力尝试英语表达，即使是一个词、不完整的句子等，并及时纠正和教授。
