Sing the song of Big big world.

Step 2 Presentation

1.

Show the new words in the song: miss, tear, end and gone. And talk with students that if they meet new words when reading what they usually do.

Show a dictionary and the title.

Lead students to look up the words together. Discuss and let

the students know that we can find much information about

the words from a dictionary and it is important to learn how to

use a dictionary.

4.

Show more words: arm, hand, happen, must and teach.

5.

Show the pages of these words and let the students find the

rule.

The words in a dictionary are in alphabetical order from A to Z. This helps us find words quickly.

If two words start with the same letter, we look at the second letter of the word we want to look up. If the first two letters of 明天的你，会感谢今天奋斗的你！
