一、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

1) 复习所学的颜色类及服装类的词汇，并在说、读和写的练习中能熟练运用。

2）总结归纳询问及回答不同类型及不同颜色服装的价格的句型。

2) 根据所提供的情景，能对不同类型及不同颜色的服装来询问其价格。

三、教学过程

Learning objectives To learn to use How much questions to ask about prices. To learn to use demonstratives the, this, that, these, those.

Step one: lead-in Do you remember Mary and the salesman? How do they talk about prices? How much is the...? How much are the...s?

Step two: presentation Ask Ss to read together the sentences in the chart. Ask Ss to have a discussion: What’s the verb? What’s the rule?

When do we use the, this, that, these, those?

Step three: drill Ask Ss to make sentences in the chart with the words in the three boxes.(3a) Read together the words and ask: What are these words? (articles, colors and nouns) Circle the plurals and underline the singulars. Make sentences with the words and check answers.

Ask Ss to write questions and answers according to the pictures. (3b) Check answers in pairs.

Step four: practice Ask Ss to do Exercise 3c. Student A, look at the pictures in 3b for a minute and then close your book. Student B, ask questions.

Now suppose you’re in a shop to buy something. Work in pairs. One is the customer and the other is the shopkeeper. Make a conversation with your partner.

Step five: homework Write the conversation with your partner.
