Step1. Preview

Read the following letters and try to check if they have the same phoneme. 下列字母中的读音中含有相同音素的打

1 Play games about the English letters. Look at the slide and try to pick up the “apples” as soon as they hear the teacher’s instruction. When the teacher say the letters , the students should pick them up from the apple tree. Who can get the most apples, who will be winners. (设计意图：；通过听指令摘掉所听到的字母这个游戏，既有助于培养学生的注意力又是对字母读音的一个有效复习。加上游戏本身的趣味性，使复习字母变得不再枯燥，锻炼学生的迅速反应能力。) 2 For 4a. Review the English names to go over the letters that we have learned. T: I’ll show the eight names on the slide picture first and ask you to read them. Then look at the faces and put the names in the correct alphabetical order. Then listen to the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation of the vowel letters “A”

Do the letter A and E have the same sound? Read the letters and words in column 1 and try to make sure Ss can understand the difference between the two “ a” sounds and

the two “ e” sounds.

read the new words in column 2 and make sure they know the distinction between different pronunciations of the same letter. The teacher moves around the classroom and helps Ss if necessary check their pronunciations. （设计意图：通过进一步的朗读让学生确认这两个元音字母在不同的单词里的发音，并利用所掌握的发音去试读新的词汇。）

Review how to greet others at different time. T : You are a new student at a new school, if you want to make more friends . You should be more outgoing and friendly. 意为“ ”，“Good afternoon！”意为“ ”，“ ”意为“你好吗？”，“ ”意为“晚上好！”。见到熟人或朋友时，可以用Hi和Hello表示比较随意的、简单的问候。
