活动1d要求学生在前面听力的基础上互动交流，对听力材料进行再次挖掘，该活动要求学生就David最喜欢的学科，喜欢的原因以及上课的时间等信息进行综合运用。

Teaching procedures

Step 1

Preparation

Show the picture about the days of a week. Ask ang\d answer :

What’s the picture about?

It is about the days of a week.

How many days are there in a week?

Seven.

What day is it today?

It is ...

At first ，

learn the seven days of a week.

Step 2 Presentation& Practice

Presentation 1

1.Learn new words by chanting..

Show the chant to the students, and lead students to learn the new words: Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday .

2. Show the pictures to review subjects and days of week using brainstorming

3. Learn and Practice description words

Show some pictures to review and learn the description words

T: We have math at 8：00 A.M.

on Monday．We have art at 3：00 P.M

on Tuesday．We are very busy

from Monday to Friday. But we are free

on Saturday and Sunday.

Learn the descriptions words by showing them some pictures. Collect as many descriptions as we can, and teach the new words: cool and free.

Practice the description words

Ask students to talk about the subjects they like or dislike ,use the description words

to express the resons .

4. Presentation 2

practice 1 and listening practice 2 to finish Section B 1a and 1b.

5. Ask Ss to finish 1c and ask questions about the schedule in1c:What classes does David have on Monday?

What classes does David have on the morning of Tuesday? ...

These questions can help students get familiar with the schedule.

Step 3 Production

Just now we listened to a conversation about David. Fill in the blanks in 1d and practice the dialogue with your partner.

Group work: Interview your group mates and report it to your class.

3.Work in group to ask What’s your favorite day and why ?. Then report to the class .
