内容分析:

本单元学习的主题是校历。通过Mike和张鹏对校历的讨论来学习12个月份的单词。

教学目标:

1. 能够听、说、读、写关于月份的六个单词:January, February, March, April, May, June.

2. 能够听、说、认读、理解一些节假日的英文表达,如Tree Planting Day, New Year’s Day等,并能够用When is …? It’s in …. 来交流其所在的月份。

3. 能够初步了解school calendar的结构、12个月在四季中的分布以及部分节日的相关文化,尤其是中国春节的时间。

教学重点:

1. 能够听、说、读、写月份单词:January, February, March, April, May, June;

2. 能够听、说、认读、理解一些节假日的英文表达,并能够用When is …? It’s in …. 来交流其所在的月份。

教学难点:

1. 能够掌握January, February两个单词的正确读音;

2. 能够准确地用英文表述课文中的节假日及其所在具体月份。

1. T: Look, today we will go on learning unit 3 My school calendar.This is a school calendar.

介绍并学习节日名称( Easter party, winter vacation, singing contest, May Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day)

【设计意图】通过图片引出节日,学生兴趣较浓。

二.Presentation

1. Guess the fun things.

Show the picture and ask : What are the fun things? Guess the students to answer.

T Presents the phases on to the Bb:

2. Learn ‘March’.

T: when is Tree Planting Day?

S1: It’s in March.

【设计意图】January, February这两个词的读音是本课的难点之一,除了拆音节拼写、拼读之外,我还设计了一首儿歌,朗朗上口,学生比较喜欢。在此基础上展开了‘New Year’s Day’, ‘Spring Festival’的学习,尤其是春节,让孩子们了解、会说It’s usually in February. Sometimes it’s in January.是对本土文化的拓展,很有意义。
