Teaching Steps:

Step 1. Warm –up

1. Sing a song 《My Family》.

2. Greeting.

3. Free talk

(The purpose of this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the students, and, at the same time, it provides situations to review the learnt knowledge)

Step 2.Presentation and practise.

1.The teacher plays the animation to enable students to perceive the story content as a whole.

2.Leads to learn the words and phrases:actress、 Wait a minute! How beautiful

3.Practice to learn the words and phrases.

4.Paly animation,Listen and imitate.

5.Read the story in different ways.

5.Learn to tell the story.

6.Act the story.

(The purpose of this is to present the new words and sentences in the situation, which relates to the students’ real life experiences, to help the students understand the language easily and naturally.)

Step 3 .Consolidation.

Two students a group to make a dialogue to check if they can use correctly and skillfully.

(The purpose of this is to stimulate students’ interest of learning English, To foster students’ consciousness of good co-operation.and reinforce the learnt knowledge.)

Step 4. Sumarry.

I will guide the students to conclude the key words And sentences,And

also educate students to learn to be thankful by sing the song 《My Family》. (The purpose of this is to stimulate students’ interest of learning English and wide their knowledge about communication across cultures.)
