教学过程：

Step1：

Warming up 1.

Greeting T：Today I’m very happy to be your English teacher ,I hope we will enjoy the lesson. 2.

Watch about signs to elicit the topic“signs”

, learn the word“sign”。

Step2：Presentation Learn the key structure “What does this sign mean? It means you can’t…”and learn the new words: litter, smoke, smell. 1. Let’s talk(Learn the key structure“What does this sign mean? It means you can’t…”) T: What signs do you know? You can say it in Chinese, but try to say it in English. T: Great, you know the signs very well. Look at this picture. Can we eat here? Can we drink here? Of course we can’t. So what does this sign mean? S: We can’t eat or drink.

T: It means we can’t eat or drink. 2.同法教“It means we can’t fish”

3.用图片 run、swim、fish 操练句型，引出生词litter、smoke。

T： What does this sign mean? It means you can’t litter. Read after me please. How to read this word“letter”. T： What does this sign mean? It means you can’t smoke. Read after me please. Why can’t we smoke in the public places? Because it’s bad for the health and it smells bad.(新授单词词smell) Step3：Learn the text 1)

Read and match (找到标识所在地点）新授单词：shopping centre 、restaurant. 按顺序出示Mike, Helen ,Tim所去的四个地方。利用图片进行梳理，并将标志和地点匹配，然后给出适当的建议) 1)Listen and choose T给出建议：We should be careful.(新授Be careful) 2）Read judge and retell （No littering---Don’t litter）

3）Think and say No eating or drinking--- Don’t take your juice into the shop(新授take…into…) 4）Think and imagine No smoking---Don’t smoke. Reading time Open your books and read after the tape. 1. Good memory: Read by your selves quickly and try to remember and then play a game“Answer my questions in 20 seconds as more as you can”. More about signs It means you can’t eat or drink. = It means “No eating or drinking”

It means you can’t litter. = It means “No littering”
